(JW Insights) May 29 -- Hahn-Schickard, a German MEMS provider, opened its first overseas branch - China Microsystems Applied Research Institute (汉希科特中国微系统应用研究院) recently in Jiaxing of eastern China’s Zhejiang Province, JW Insights learned.
The institute is jointly funded by Hahn-Schickard and the Pinghu Economic and Technological Development Zone. Covering over 2,500 square meters, the institute focuses on the R&D and testing of chips and MEMS sensors, committed to localization of Germany's advanced microsystem sensor manufacturing technology and supporting an industrial chain.
Hahn-Schickard is one of the few companies in Germany that can provide full-process R&D and technical services for chips and MEMS products from conception to production. It offers silicon technology, microsensors, electronic and microelectronic systems, and software solutions.
