SHANGHAI, Oct. 21 /PRNewswire-Asia-FirstCall/ -- Spreadtrum Communications, Inc. (Nasdaq: SPRD, the "Company"), one of China's leading wireless baseband chipset providers, today announced that its Chief Financial Officer, David S. Wu, has resigned from the Company effective October 13, 2009, due to personal reasons. The Company's Vice President of Finance, who has been with the Company since 2001, Shannon Gao, will assume the responsibility for day-to-day finance and accounting activities while the Company commences a search for Mr. Wu's successor.

Commenting on the transition, Spreadtrum's President and CEO, Dr. Leo Li, said, "It is a difficult decision to separate with David after his short time here. Yet, we respect David's need to focus on his personal matters. We appreciate the contribution that David has made during his time at Spreadtrum and wish him all the best in his new endeavor. 　David S.Wu拥有15年的中国财务和运营管理经验。在美国基金会任常务董事期间，他曾负责为中信资本提供中国增值服务。在担任CFO/总经理期间，DavidS. Wu利用纽交所上市公司丹纳赫集团的商业系统软件，成功地将持续改良工具引进中国。David S.Wu曾为联合信号公司(现霍尼韦尔公司)在中国进行了第一笔盈利的投资，他所领导的团队还曾与IBM、摩托罗拉及其他公司合作，推出了第一本基于WAP的GPS可搜索黄页，其内容包括上海和北京的手机信息。David S.Wu曾担任百路驰的企业财务经理/助理财务总监，他的职业生涯始于美国，任安永会计师事务所(Ernst &Young)驻芝加哥的审计师。　　David S. Wu以优异成绩毕业于普林斯顿大学，获教育学理学士学位；此后毕业于宾夕法尼亚大学，获教育理学硕士学位，后又获得沃顿管理学院MBA学位。他通过了合格鉴识检查师和注册管理会计师考试，是美国弗吉尼亚州和伊利诺斯州的注册会计师。

腾讯科技讯 北京时间10月21日消息，展讯通信（NASDAQ:SPRD）今日宣布，公司首席财务官David S.Wu因个人原因于10月13日从公司辞职。公司财务部副总裁，Shannon Gao将暂时负责公司日常财会工作，直至公司找到Wu的继任者。

展讯通信首席执行官李力游对此表示，“公司很难接受David的离开，尤其是考虑到他仅加入我们很短一段时间。但我们尊重David由于个人原因做出的选择。我们要感谢David加入展讯以来做出的贡献，并祝他一帆风顺。”

李力游同时说，“我相信Shannon在公司寻找新CFO的同时，可以保证企业财会工作的连续性。”

David S.Wu于2009年6月8日正式加盟展讯通信，在公司任首席财务官一职仅4个月。
